The Florida Society for Bioenergetic Analysis is proud to offer Certification training to become a Certified Bioenergetic Psychotherapist or Certified Bioenergetic Facilitator.
The excellent training staff includes Scott Winfield LCSW, Robert Glazer PhD, Diane Gobbroge LAP, Laurie Ure MSW, Alberto Wang MA, Silvina Henriquez MA, and John Yong JD. The training program meets five times a year and teaches Alexander Lowen style bioenergetic psychotherapy.
The training program is designed around two cycles (two years per cycle, 220 training hours each cycle). The trainers in charge are Alberto Wang, Silvina Henriquez, Soledad Valenzuela, Ana Murillo, Scott Winfield, Robert Glazer and John Yong. If you need information please contact us.

Venezuela Bioenergetic Workshop - Finding Your Aliveness
This workshop will highlight areas like the use of Bioenergetic Analysis to open the life force and demonstrate innovative ways of working with emotional issues using information from direct observation of the body as it realtes to the personality, experience, and conflicts of the individual. Bioenergetic mind body therapy will be taught. We will include Lowenian exercises designed to raise the body's energy level, promote self awareness, self expression, selfhood, and relaxtion.

Frank Hladky, MD, was a wonderful, sensitive, caring, and innovative Bioenergetic Psychotherapist and Psychiatrist who shared over 40 years of close camaraderie with Alexander Lowen, MD. Frank passed away on May 25th, at the age of 88, peacefully in his sleep, having given his last bioenergetic session the afternoon before.
The Florida Society is providing Frank's Memorial Tribute using internet postings to honor his kind, giving, pure nature and gifts to Bioenergetics.

I met Frank at the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis workshop in the spring of 1988. He did a session with me that I will never forget. His presence and strong male energy allowed me to feel the unexpressed feelings I had for my father. And I cried for what seemed like an eternity. I continued to seek out time with Frank in Tulsa, New Mexico and later graduated from his and Anna Miller's training group in 2002. He was my mentor, my surrogate and spiritual father, my model and my teacher. I have never met anyone like Frank, so solid, down to earth and grounded. He touched all that had the privilege to know him. I can only hope to be as present as he. I miss him and will always love him.

I dearly loved and cherished Frank--and the deep love for Bioenergetics he and I knew we both had --and shared. When he was here last, he did 23 sessions in 4 days. When I called him a few days later to invite him back--I could feel his caution and worry. We shared a great laugh -about his fond memory of his last trainng in Florida--and "leaving at the top of his game". May we all honor his work.

Teaching Module Number Five: Bioenergetic application to professional and personal work; Bioenergetic case studies, Bioenergetic Masters Panel Discussion: 80 years of Bioenergetic Experience DVD. 3 monthly one-on-one Skype mentoring - tutorial 60 minute sessions.
Trainees will be assisted in receiving several, personal, Bioenergetic therapy sessions. One's personal bioenergetic's experience is the backbone of Bioenergetic training. A four day summer training workshop will be held at The Florida Society for Bioenergetic Analysis in Florida, that trainees are encouraged to attend, if possible. Students may take this program at their own pace, however we suggest that each training module be completed in three months.
Trainees may take all or selected modules. Individuals using Bioenergetics in their professional and/or personal work may take any of the modules for their own development.
Successful completion of the five training modules plus personal Bioenergetic therapy experience will give trainees credit for the first year of training at The Florida Society for Bioenergetic Analysis Training Program in the United States. Tuition for each module including DVDs and study guides is US $700, payable before delivery of training material. MasterCard, Visa, AMEX and wire transfers are accepted. The Florida Society began offering certification training in Bioenergetics in 1984. Our emphasis is on Alexander Lowen-style Bioenergetics. We offer certification training, personal growth workshops and professional development workshops. As part of Florida Society activities, we provide Bioenergetics Press.
Bioenergetic Analysis is a fifty year old mind-body integrating form of psychotherapy that works actively with the client's breathing, muscular tension patterns and psychological-emotional issues. Bioenergetic Analysis works in a unique fashion by means of physical exercises, emotional release and psychological processing giving the client a very effective alternative to traditional talk psychotherapy.

Historical Visit by Alexander Lowen, MD
Alexander Lowen, MD and Eleanor Greenlee, MFT, presented a workshop entitled "The Master's Workshop" in High Springs, Florida on August 5th - 7th, 2005. The workshop was a testament to Alexander Lowen's lifelong commitment to the body in psychotherapy.
The workshop gave participants a rare opportunity to experience Lowen's form of Bioenergetics that he practiced at age 94. His work always emphasized strong, effective, precise bodywork and psychological interventions to provide the recipient with the experience of regaining the life force that nature had intended. At 94, he remained active, walking several times a day and practicing Bioenergetic exercises, including daily forward rolls and somersaults. Eleanor, a Senior International Bioenergetic Trainer, provided excellent assistance in the sensitive use of the body and her highly esteemed use of self.
