FSBA’S Personal Transformation Program is committed to our students expanding their capacities of self-awareness, self-possession, and self-expression. We approach this from the Bioenergetics premise of an underlying unity of mind and body in everything we feel, think, and do. In our experience, transformational inner work is most powerful when that unity is honored, when we work the energy of the body in concert with the process of psychotherapy. This is the wisdom of Bioenergetics.
The training approach is unique in that you will be fully engaged in experiential and academic learning alongside therapists seeking certification in Bioenergetics. Thus, in general, you will be receiving the same instruction as the therapists on the certification track. (More information on that curriculum can be found HERE). In addition, you will enjoy and benefit from the strong and nourishing community that develops each year. Our participants typically report that their individual growth would not have been possible outside of that quality of community.
With the successful completion of the Personal Transformation Program’s training year, you will realize the expansion of your capacities of self-awareness, self-possession, and self-expression. You will be better grounded, establish healthier boundaries, have greater access to your feelings, enjoy deeper intimacy with yourself and others, better understand your energetic stance in the world and how that relates to your issues, and be more effective in your personal and professional life. But perhaps most important, you will have experienced something of your potential aliveness, an aliveness ready to serve you on your life’s journey.
The FSBA Personal Transformation Program leaders are exceptional therapists and inspiring teachers. Each faculty member has taught Bioenergetics for many years and regularly conducts international training workshops in Bioenergetics. They also have full-time private practices, lead personal growth retreats, and several have founded Bioenergetics training institutes in their countries. Faculty members also have extensive experience in executive coaching.
The FSBA Personal Transformation Program begins each year in September. Early application is recommended.

Payment for the 2021 program year is $4,300. This can be spread out monthly throughout the nine-month training year.
Annual Florida Society Membership dues of $125 are payable at the September workshop.

The closest airports are Jacksonville International (JAX) in Florida, which is an hour and 20 minutes away by car, and the Gainesville Regional (GNV) which is a 20 min. drive. International trainees frequently use the Orlando, Tampa and Miami airports.

The Florida Society for Bioenegetics offers State of Florida CE credits to Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Our CEUs are also accepted for State of Florida Psychologist and by the Board for many other helping professions. MH 2814.
