TRE Weekend Workshop - Tension/Trauma Release Exercises

March 12th-13th, 2016

About the Leader: Paul Amberg has been a bioenergetic practitioner for almost 30 years. He graduated from the bioenergetic training program of the Florida Society for Bioenergetic Analysis in 2013. He has been certified as a TRE Provider by the North German Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis (NIBA) since February 2015. He gained his approval as a nonmedical practitioner (psychotherapy) in 2013. He lives in Wiesbaden (Germany) where he has a private practice.

Tension/Trauma Release Exercises: TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercise) is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

TRE consist of six exercises that help to release deep tension from the muscles by evoking a natural muscular shaking process in the body called neuromuscular tremors. The exercises are a form of stretching similar to yoga stretches, and are initially used to trigger the wired-in tremors. Once the techniques are learned and practiced, the tremors will occur naturally when the body is correctly positioned.

In the two day workshop you will be guided through the exercises in a safe environment. There will be time for experiencing the relaxing and calming effects of TRE.

Some of the reported  benefits of TRE include:

  • Less Worry & Anxiety
  • Reduces Symptoms of PTSD
  • More Energy & Endurance
